Plan B only works for a certain amount of time. It works best in 72 hours but you technically have 5 days but if you go past the 72 hours than it has less of a chance of working.
That above is correct. If you are in Australia or the United States (those are the only two I know about) you should be able to get it straight off the shelf in the family planning aisle or over the counter in the pharmacy, regardless of age.
