"I ran from my fear for so long that is just stopped being scary!" - said no one, ever. The only way anyone ever overcame their fears was by confronting them.

If you will do it immediately, it will be risky because somehow you're still not prepared on how to deal with people. You should just act step by step: First, think what will be the factors on a healthy company or friends. Second, activities that can help you improve your social status (competitions, party, get together events), just remember that you should take it slowly. Finally, having friends is the best so you can start it by dealing with people you're acquainted and find those real people and be ready to every consequences because not all are considerate. Facing fear is good, but if it is just in place. But if you're feeling that it's not yet the time to do it then don't rush yourself about it. You just need to prioritize other things there will be time that you're ready for it.

I think it is only to the degree you take it. If your afraid of heights would it be a good idea to jump out of a plane. More than likely not. But taking it slow can aid in the process. Remember the strong survive and as long as we make progress we are always moving forward

I guess you won't fail if you will have a place to run away to. You know, it will be a lot of stress to you, so you must have something which relieves stress. Like music, reading, a cozy place at home and etc..

And, of course, repeating in your mind something like "It is going to pass soon. Come on, I can do this. It is nothing to be afraid of. There are a lot of people. They all have their own problems. I'm one of them. I'm fine. I'll be fine. It'll end soon" should help a lot. Be aware of your fear and it will help you overcome it. Big things start from small ones. I'm sure you can do this. But it doesn't seem to be easy. Blessings!

Facing your fear and standing up to it makes you stronger, it will never make you weak. And even if you loose, you still get stronger for trying.Id say stand up to your fear, look it in the eye, and tell your fear "i dare you, try and take me on". Fear is only a feeling, a feeling your scared off.Once you learn how to control it, you will see, its nothing really. Dont let fear keep you from striking out in the game.Take a chance, whats the worse that could happen??? Nothing you ever had to face in life already?? I garuntee you had to stand up to much more worse problems than the one you posted. And in the end you did overcome it. Dont let this small issue be your weakness.Stand up to it, fight it, your stronger than this. Remember, fear is just a feeling of your mindset. Just change your mindset and the way you think and you will have no fear.
