Coping vs. exposing

what do you think its better to do when feeling anxious, having self defense or copin mechanisms, or expose to triggers to get over the anxiety? i’d like to know your opinions :D

Depending on the trigger, it may be smart to just face your fear, instead of spending your entire life avoiding it. After you face it and successfully triumph over it, you will face an overwhelming sense of relief. Again, this depends on what the trigger is and your level of anxiety about it; you shouldn't put yourself into a potentially dangerous situation to get over your fear.
