Closure?

sometimes, its not always possible to get closure from the person you "need" it from. Sometimes you have to get that closure by yourself. Like you could write a letter and not send it,you can get creative and express it that way, you can reflect by creating a pros and cons list,you can forgive them, you can have a change of scenery or you could make new memories ect.

I was stuck in that same kind of place as you are. I had dated a guy for about a year and he out of the blue one day told me that we were "on a break" and then he started dating a new girl, so I moved on to a new guy too and then he texted me about a week ago and I realized that a few feelings for him were left and then he said that the only reason he left was because he couldn't handle the pressure of dating someone as messed up as I was, and that's when I decided I was going to get closure, and we talked it through all the way and now I feel nothing for him. All you have to do is get them talking and if they won't talk to you; then you need to look inside yourself and realize that whatever you and that person had is over and you don't need them in your life that way anymore and that you can be happy without them. :)

Thanks for sharing guys. I am just still a little angry with my ex for lying to me so that's where I want closure from the most but I know I will probally never get it. He doesn't talk about his feelings. Anyways I do find that you get your closure when you realize how different you are from the person you want it from and you realize you don't need anything from them anymore and they shouldn't have some invisible hold over you when they aren't even in your life anymore.
