It’s the worst. It can move into insomnia. Try sleeping in a lazy boy, or a different place than normal. You trick your body into thinking it is just a nap – sometimes it sticks for a full blown sleep! Shut screens off a couple hours before you want to go to sleep. The light can mess with your brain, making it think it is more like day rather than night.
Try to find ways to help you sleep more easily @jillybean131, hope you manage to get a good rest, I’m always here if you need to chat or vent, stay strong, you are never alone (hugs)
Thank you for response. I ended up chugging some cough syrup and went to sleep for hours. I know that’s not altogether healthy, but I feel much better now that I’ve had some good sleep.
Yeah, it’s frustrating, my body wants sleep but my brain won’t let me. Sorry to hear you have this problem, also. Thank you for understanding.
We are never alone as long as Blahtherapy exists. I’m very grateful to have some support. It helps, tremendously.
