@oliver Thank you, it’s just typical holiday-family drama. Every year my grandmother (mom’s side) starts trouble, and then it spreads throughout the family, making everyone turn against each other.
It’s unfortunate, but oh well, what can ya do? I’m just worried about my mother, really.

Ah, my grandmother planned a family get-together without involving half of the family, so my mother and siblings all got left out (as always), and don’t know if we’ll be able to make it to this party, which my grandmother probably couldn’t care less about, because she’s a favorite-picker and we’re definitely not her favorites…
Like I mentioned in my reply to Oli, I’m really just worried about my mother, because this always effects her deeply and near-ruins her holidays.

Gotta love the family drama. Hopefully things kinda work themselves out – maybe try and do something for mum that she really enjoys? Something to perk her up a little?
