Dude, relax, there’s three players here: your connection, the other person connection, and blatherapy’s servers. I don’t have problems chatting for an hour with people when I meet someone else who has a decent connection, decent wifi reception or isn’t using a phone to chat. Or that doesn’t willingly disconnect on me randomly. If you want to test your line, try to see if you can stay in a tinychat room for 30 minutes without it disconnecting. @blahtherapy this could be a FAQ, there was a test, now buried in the forums, to report problems, and maybe you know some better stability tester than keeping a tinychat room open.
@rinseandrep I understand where you’re coming from. Yes I’m hyped up. But it’s not without good reason. Since I joined, the longest I’ve been able to stay chatting is a minute or two. I imagine you can see how that’d get annoying. That’s a good point to bring up – it could be that they’re d/cing or just leaving. @Jorge Thanks dude!
That’s not something I experience, out of 5 venters a couple might disconnect soon but eventually it can always go on for an hour without trouble. If every session you have is so short it might be time to debug your line and wifi strength, to see if you can stay without interruption in a tinychat room is a good test for these. Or check your java/adobe up to date status, or try another browser altogether.
@jewels@rinseandrep most people who can only chat for 1-2 minutes are most likely using a browser that’s outdated and highly incompatible with websockets considering it’s kind of a new thing. If you’re still have this issue, I would recommend using a browser like Chrome, Firefox or Safari.

PS: I didn’t realize the chat changed today so what I wrote was about the last week, but I’m using the chat now and it’s been 7 minutes.
