Yesterday was nice. My friend and her family invited me over to their house for a little Christmas get together with extended family. I arrived a little too early and they insisted I have dinner with them. I felt so welcome.(Funny thing, a few times I’d stick my hand out for a handshake, but they’d pull me in for a hug instead. xD) Everyone was so nice, and we got along so well. No one was yelling or screaming or arguing… And for the first time in years, it actually felt like Christmas to me. I enjoyed myself and was happy to be there. It kinda made me wonder if maybe it’s not all my fault that I’m so unhappy at home. I always think that I’m just being ungrateful. But maybe it’s not me.
